The Consciousness Institute
Our Mission
The Consciousness Institute is a research organization dedicated to studying the structure, limits, and potential of human awareness.
We investigate how consciousness operates across biological, cognitive, and transpersonal domains — using disciplined scientific method, transparent protocols, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Our work integrates physiology, neuroscience, systems theory, and controlled anomalous cognition research to explore a fundamental question:
How far does awareness extend — and how can we measure it responsibly?
We build carefully, replicate rigorously, and publish transparently.
That’s why we are developing:
For Researchers
Structured experimental platforms to test anticipatory physiology, non-local cognition, and advanced states under controlled conditions.
For Institutions
Collaborative research partnerships that integrate neuroscience, physics, contemplative science, and systems modeling.
For Society
Educational and policy frameworks that translate emerging findings into grounded, ethical, and practical applications.
We are building deliberately and in partnership with scientists, educators, and medical researchers.
Our pilot programs beginning in 2026 will focus on replicable physiological studies and structured cognition testing before expanding into advanced state research.

What We Study
Our flagship research framework — the Trans-Scalar Empirical Consciousness Model — organizes inquiry across three layers:
• Developmental capacities of awareness
• Scales of perception (from embodied to cosmological)
• Empirical testing pillars
We currently focus on four measurable domains:
Presentiment
Physiological anticipation before unpredictable events.
Non-Local Cognition
Information acquisition beyond conventional sensory channels.
NDE / OBE Research
Conscious awareness during altered or diminished neural states.
Structured Remote Perception
Triple-blind testing of distant information acquisition.
Each study is designed with statistical rigor, ethical oversight, and independent review.
We do not assume conclusions.
We test them.
Who We Are
Our team includes neuroscientists, systems theorists, physicists, contemplative researchers, and designers.
We believe that questions about consciousness deserve both intellectual humility and methodological precision.
We feel a deep responsibility to explore boundary phenomena carefully — without exaggeration and without dismissal.
Consciousness research affects medicine, education, ethics, and our understanding of human potential. It requires long-term commitment.
We are building for decades, not headlines.
Join The Inquiry
We are seeking:
• Research collaborators
